We're excited to announce the four-part "Pau Hana Sessions" presented by Kona Brewing Hawaii. The "Pau Hana Sessions" is a live virtual Q&A series created exclusively for the students who have registered for the Surf Responder Online Course.
"Pau Hana" means "finished work" in the Hawaiian language and is used to refer to after work "happy hour," so depending on what time zone you're tuning in from, feel free to join us with your favorite tasty cold beverage. NOTE: Neither BWRAG nor Kona Brewing Hawaii condone or promote the consumption of alcoholic beverages by anyone under the age of 21.

Throughout the “Pau Hana Sessions,” students will have the opportunity to ask questions to gain insights about specific modules from the Surf Responder Online Course from the following instructors:

This is your opportunity to ask our instructors any questions you may have about the featured Online Course Module. Each "Pau Hana Session” will have a registration form and a pre-event survey for you to submit questions to the instructor in advance .
Can’t Make It? We Got You Covered.
If you are unable to attend the live "Pau Hana Session," no worries! The Session will be recorded and the video will be uploaded as a supplemental video to the Online Course for later viewing.
Eligibility.
In order to be eligible to attend any "Pau Hana Session," students must be enrolled in the BWRAG Surf Responder Online Course prior to the date of the event. If you have not purchased the entire Online Course, you will not be given the access to attend the “Pau Hana Session,” even if you complete the event registration form. We will cross-reference students who fill out the event registration form with our Online Course enrollment list. You can purchase the Surf Responder Online Course here.
Episode 1: Pau Hana with Andrea Moller
Our first "Pau Hana Session" will take place on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Hawaii time and will feature BWRAG Instructor, Professional Big Wave Surfer, and Career Paramedic Andrea Moller. Andrea will be available to ask questions and share her knowledge on the First-Aid Module, as well as her professional background as a career paramedic and professional big wave surfer. This "Pau Hana Session" will be moderated by BWRAG Managing Director Zach DiIonno.

Episode 2: Pau Hana with Greg Long
Our second "Pau Hana Session" will be held in June 2021 and will feature BWRAG Master Instructor, Professional Big Wave Surfer, and Environmental Activist Greg Long. Stay tuned for more info!
Our second "Pau Hana Session" will take place on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Hawaii time and will feature BWRAG Instructor, Professional Big Wave Surfing Champion, and Environmental Activist Greg Long. Greg will be available to ask questions and share his knowledge on the Mindful Breathing & Energy Management Module, as well as his professional background as a professional big wave surfer. This "Pau Hana Session" will be moderated by BWRAG Managing Director Zach DiIonno.
Episode 3: Pau Hana with Mark Healey
Our third "Pau Hana Session" will take place on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Hawaii time and will feature BWRAG Instructor, Professional Big Wave Surfer, and Expert Spearfisherman/Hunter Mark Healey. Mark will be available to ask questions and share his knowledge on the Safety Equipment Module, as well as his professional background as one of the world’s top watermen and outdoor athletes. This "Pau Hana Session" will be moderated by BWRAG Managing Director Zach DiIonno.
