BWRAG is headed back to Australia for our 2025 Casuarina, Australia Surf Responder & Ocean Safety Summit presented by Patagonia and Pro Guarding and hosted by Hyundai Surfing Australia High Performance Centre on July 26-27, 2025.
The Surf Responder & Ocean Safety Summit is a two-day training designed for surfers and ocean enthusiasts of all backgrounds, skill levels, and abilities. This course teaches essential ocean safety skills combined with hands-on practical application to help you respond confidently and effectively in emergency situations — for others or yourself.

CURRICULUM: Emergency Action Planning / Mindful Breathing & Apnea Training / Water Rescue Training (Unassisted Rescue, Surfboard Rescue)
REGISTRATION FEE*
Early-Bird $550 AUD / Regular Price $600 AUD
Includes CPR/AED Certification
Official BWRAG Certificate of Completion (qualifies students to purchase the Patagonia PSI Vest; completion of a BWRAG training is a prerequisite for purchasing a Patagonia PSI vest. A BWRAG Certificate of Completion must be presented to Patagonia to begin the purchasing process).
*Refunds for Registration Fees will be issued in full for cancellations that are requested at least ten (10) calendar days prior to the first day of the Summit. No refunds will be issued for cancellations that occur fewer than ten (10) calendar days before the first day of the Summit.
