The Ocean Risk Technician Summit is a professional-level training program for safety teams operating in high-risk ocean environments, and athletes wanting to push their limits to the next level. Building on the foundation of the BWRAG Surf Responder Summit, this advanced two-day course develops the judgment, technical skills, and response capabilities needed to manage risk and support rescue operations. The summit culminates in a capstone series of realistic, scenario-based rescue evolutions that challenge participants to integrate their training, make critical decisions, and perform under pressure.
PREREQUISITE: Participants must hold a BWRAG Surf Responder Summit certification and be comfortable in high-surf and ocean environments. Participants under 16-years-old will be considered on a case-by-case basis (please contact info@bwrag.com if U16).
MON Day 1: Ocean Risk Assessment & Mitigation / Apnea Training / Basic Life Support: CPR / Trauma Assessment & Interventions
TUES Day 2: Aquatic Victim Extrication / Marine Rescue Vehicle (MRV) Techniques / CAPSTONE: Integrated Rescue Scenarios

Successful completion of the course includes:
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Official BWRAG Ocean Risk Technician Certificate of Completion
Participants must register in advance.* Summit limited to 30 participants. Registration closes when all available seats are sold out. Partial attendance is not permitted.
*Refunds for Registration Fees will be issued in full for cancellations requested at least seven (7) calendar days prior to the first day of the Summit. No refunds will be issued for cancellations that occur fewer than seven (7) calendar days before the first day of the Summit.
