Join us for BWRAG’s 2-day Ocean Risk Technician Summit in Half Moon Bay, CA October 13-14.
OVERVIEW: The Ocean Risk Technician summit is an advanced ocean safety and medical response training designed for individuals operating in high-risk marine environments. This 2-day certification builds upon foundational medical and surf-responder skills with expanded instruction in wilderness first response, basic life support, emergency patient assessment, and marine rescue vessel operation. Training culminates in scenario-based simulations to reinforce skill integration under real-world conditions.
DATES: Monday, Oct 11, 7:30am - 5:30pm & Tuesday, Oct 12, 7:30am - 5:30pm
LOCATION: Jettywave Distillery, 155 Broadway, Half Moon Bay, CA 94019
PLEASE NOTE: All students must be comfortable in ocean environments. This course also requires at least ONE of the following pre-requisite qualifications:
Attendee of a previous BWRAG Summit
Completion of the BWRAG Surf Responder online course
Active or seasonally active member a public safety agency (lifeguard, fire, police, military, EMS)
Exceptions can be made on a case by case basis for prior lifeguards and/or those in the the medical field. Please email info@bwrag.com with details about your qualifications and reason of interest in this training.
